SENSE supports architects and interior designers from early material selection through samples and project review. The aim is to match the finish with the base, daily use, construction details and work schedule before installation starts.
Start with the room and what the surface needs to do. SENSE can help with colour and finish, review the planned application and base, prepare physical samples and share relevant completed projects.
What to share for the first review. Share plans, room schedules and the surfaces to be finished. Identify new and existing bases. Mark wet areas, drains, floor slopes, movement joints, thresholds and changes between materials. Also describe the expected traffic and cleaning. It is fine if some information is not ready. An early review can identify what still needs to be decided. A visual sample alone cannot answer construction questions.
Move from screen to physical sample. Use the Atelier to narrow down the colour and finish. Then review a physical sample under different light and beside the actual timber, stone, metal, paint and fabric. A sample shows the intended look, but it is not a factory-printed pattern. Hand application, room size, light and surface shape create natural variation in the completed work.
Draw the connections. Important details often sit at the edge of the finish: drains, skirtings, stairs, thresholds, corners, shadow gaps, joinery, bathroom fittings and movement joints. Coordinate these with the relevant consultants and trades. If the project needs exact SENSE thicknesses, test values or standard details, request the latest verified information. We do not replace missing SENSE data with a competitor's figures.
What is available now. The website currently provides the colour register, finish composer, sample requests, completed projects, application guides and a direct enquiry form. Technical downloads will be added only when approved files are ready. This avoids placeholder documents, unpublished certifications and performance claims that have not been verified.
